Q: How is Masterhost different from other hosting services?

A: With most hosting services, you only get hosting and technical support in the event something goes wrong with your website or email. Masterhost packages include a number of hours of web design support. Its like having your own web master and designer on call year-round.
 

Q: What can I expect when I make an order?

A: Once your order is processed, your Webmaster will contact you by email or phone and assist you in either moving your website from your old host or setting up your website if it is a new one. Your Webmaster will personally work with you to get your site up and running, get your email accounts setup and answer any questions you have about your Masterhost hosting package.
 

Q: Why is Masterhost more expensive than other hosting services?

A: Because unlike most other services, Masterhost packages include a specified amount of support from our professional web coders, graphic designers and copywriters who are on call year round to make changes to your website as you need them.
 

Q: How do I request design changes to my website once I've purchased a Masterhost hosting package?

A: If you need changes to your website you simply fill out a design support ticket by clicking here, and your Webmaster will contact you about the changes you require. If those changes require less time than you have allotted in your Masterhost package then they are made at no additional charge.
 

Q: What happens if my requested web design changes will take more time than I have alloted for the current month/quarter?

A:  We call these "Special Design Requests." If changes you request will require more time than you have allocated for the current month/quarter, then you will receive an email indicating the additional time and extra cost required for the Special Design Request before the work is started. If you approve the additional time and cost, you will receive an invoice at the end of the month for a one-time charge to cover the Special Design Request. If you do not approve the additional time and cost, you may request a call back from one of our project managers who will help you attempt to come up with a solution for your needs that works within your Masterhost package without additional cost.
 

Q: How long does it usually take for revisions to my website to be completed?

A: We endeavor to respond to all change requests from clients within 24 hours of receiving them and to complete any website revisions within 3 - 5 business days. Special Design Requests that require more time than you have allocated for the current month or quarter, may take additional depending on the amount of work you've requested.
 

Q: What types of web design work is included in my Masterhost package?

A: All Masterhost packages include basic web design changes such as changes to text, copyediting or copywriting, photo touchups, creation and addition of graphics, minor page layout changes, addition of new pages, addition of email links and links to other websites and data entry. More advanced support such as major page layout changes, modifications to website navigation, database management, database coding, javascript coding, flash coding and animation design and custom illustration are included in the Standard, Advanced and Premium packages.
